TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Legally Binding Agreement
This document serves as a binding agreement between the property owner or their designee, hereby identified as “Customer,” and Heritage Restoration and its agents, owners, employees and subcontractors, hereby identified as “Company,” for the execution of cleaning services in exchange for payment.
Company will try to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however circumstances that are beyond our control, such as, inclement weather, as well as other unforeseen events, may affect scheduling. If schedule changes are necessary, Customer will be notified as soon as possible.
Customer agrees to allow Company on the property for the purposes of cleaning services. It may also be necessary for Company to assess service needs prior to the date of service, as well as to check completion after services have been rendered. Customer shall make areas accessible to Company by unlocking fence gates, moving vehicles away from areas to be cleaned, removing belongings from decks/porches, etc. Customer is encouraged to consider having shrubs and trees trimmed prior to scheduled cleaning.
4. Unless otherwise notified in writing, Customer authorizes Company to take and use photographs of Customers property for promotional purposes. Company shall not publicly disclose street address or GPS location information of Customers property.
5. Water Usage
Customer agrees to provide Company with adequate water supply via exterior spigot as needed to complete the project without compensation. If water must be obtained off-site, there will be an additional charge. It is the Customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and working before Company arrives. An additional trip charge may be applied if the job cannot be completed due to water unavailability.
6. Removal & Replacement of Deck/Porch Contents
Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters, etc. is the responsibilities of the Customer. Should Company need to remove items from the deck/porch, Company will not be responsible for damage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for handling of these items.
While Company is at Customer’s location, Customer is responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Even after Company has completed the job and left the property, individuals and pets shall remain off work surfaces until all areas are dry.
Company is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles, or siding, broken or open windows, improperly sealed windows, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters and downspouts, loose mortar, and improper caulking. Sun weathering (UV) of siding will cause oxidation to the surfaces causing them to fade. Power Washing the siding may allow this condition to be more visible. Power washing, however, is not the cause of this condition. Company will not be responsible for such conditions.
Some stains cannot be removed by power washing. Rust, tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stain and paint are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. Sometimes, these stains cannot be removed at all.
10. Water Intrusion
Company expects Customer property to be in good repair and watertight. This includes, but is not limited to, all electrical service, including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors, windows, siding, and foundations shall also be watertight. Company is not responsible for damages as a result of water intrusion.
Payment is due in full at the completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon in writing prior to work beginning.
